Practice Turnaround
Our experienced clinical and management team provides tailored support to meet the needs of individual GP practices.
We work with practices to identify challenges, put improvement actions in place, and improve access to the right skills, resources and training. Our aim is to support safe, high-quality patient care and help practices remain sustainable.
157 Medical Practice
The Federation took on the contract for 157 Medical Practice in July 2019, at a time when the practice was facing serious quality concerns. CQC registration had previously been refused, patient numbers were falling, and urgent improvement was needed.
We quickly built a strong working relationship with the practice and supported it to become an active member of its Primary Care Network.
Improvement at the practice has been significant. It has achieved an overall CQC rating of Good, with Outstanding for Well-led. Patient numbers continue to grow, alongside improved QOF and LCS performance.
Uptake of key services has also increased substantially. Childhood immunisation rates have risen from among the lowest in the borough to the highest, with similar improvements seen in cervical screening.
Charlton House Medical Centre
Our caretaking contract for Charlton House Medical Centre began in 2021.
Significant improvements have been made for patients, and this work has been recognised externally. Three of our clinical leads received Haringey Hero awards in recognition of their contribution.
We continue to operate Charlton House Medical Centre and are proud to have supported the successful move to new premises.
